Let me picture silence,
By the pale moonlight.
Kissed by the breeze,
And serenaded by roos.

Example:
ABSTRACT:
Standing roadside on a bustling street,
I spy you from a green car,
Would you much rather be elsewhere?
So unaware of where to go next,
Do you lack my set destination?
To me you are a drifter, a solitary figure.

And Midas made me a God,
As I fell through gilded pages.

Mirrors jumble the city,
I am lost.
Thirty cents, postage paid,
I am lost.
Streets mood all gritty,
I am lost.
Board the bus, I have strayed,
I am lost.
The tower shadow, she fades,
I am lost.
Signs and shapes, my tongue prayed,
I am lost.
Write to me, my pretty,
I am lost.
A child’s dusty memory,
Hidden beneath the floor boards,
For nigh on a century.
Oh, what tales those soles record.
This was recovered beneath the floor boards of my parent’s house, as they are renovating.
