uncorkedwords

Just some strings of words

Bottled

ABSTRACT:

Red blindfold and green sparks,

Fast jazz and dancing free,

Soft wine and wilted parks,

Yet another draftee.

Lucidity

ABSTRACT:

The wind changed, and rocks floated to the sky,

Lucidity of the waking hours.

Blackened with absinthe and old thoughts dry,

In ivory shell, bathing in putrid flowers.

Revolution

Abstract:

One dangerous idea and fickle time,

With autonomy and leisure for all,

From intricately and sound woven rhyme,

As the congeries desert the town hall.

Sketch

You sketch me and paint,

The grey and the blue,

With sins, and not saints,

With everything I imbue.

Birds

How a bird remembers the mapped travel,

Such a marvelous thing!

And we journey, lost, on the gravel,

Oh, to fly under the wing!

Birdsong

Lips parted, red and dry,

Shortly before so long;

Birds quiet up on high;

Birds flown, sing your song.

Time

My views on time on the 31/09/2012.

Abstract:

Time. I am forever checking my watch. The need to constantly know the time is insatiable. I am unaware of what I am waiting for, or what I miss with my eyes on the watch face.

Postage Paid

Mirrors jumble the city,

I am lost.

Thirty cents, postage paid,

I am lost.

Streets mood all gritty,

I am lost.

Board the bus, I have strayed,

I am lost.

The tower shadow, she fades,

I am lost.

Signs and shapes, my tongue prayed,

I am lost.

Write to me, my pretty,

I am lost.
